It happened in Euro 2004 and we are going to see a repeat of the England teams performance again in 2006 They will not win the World Cup in Germany this year
I am proud to be English but also realistic enough to know that without respect, leadership, fitness both mentally and physically and a program of continuous professional development winning World Cups is not possible
Respect was lost prior to Euro 2004 In December 2005 when Juan Ramon Lopez Caro took charge as manager of Real Madrid we hear that in the main the team were all well below par in terms of physical fitness and mental toughness
Rest assured that within England we do have the talent and managerial experience capable of developing a team to win a World Cup Sadly though in some instances these people have not been recognised or considered by Sven or the FA
